About Us

Mission The Center for Aircraft and Systems/Support Infrastructure (CASI) is a coalition of higher education institutions in Oklahoma to provide support to the aviation community. The Center's primary operational responsibilities are shared by the comprehensive universities in Oklahoma. CASI functions as a statewide center of excellence under the aegis of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

CASI's overall scope includes the technology and business practices contributing to the creation, operation, and maintenance of aviation infrastructure in Oklahoma and the Nation. This includes support to every part of the aviation life cycle, from basic research through conceptualization; design; development; test; evaluation; maintenance, repair, and overhaul; through the end-of-life disposition of the physical and information assets.

CASI's initial focus is on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of military and civilian aircraft, aircraft systems, and the national airspace.

When CASI or its stakeholders believe that CASI can substantially improve the efficiency and effectiveness of other areas of the aviation life cycle and/or enhance other industrial sectors by transferring the lessons learned in the aviation sector, CASI will expand its scope and activities into those areas.
